If, on the eve of World War II, the media had warned humanity about the coming tragedy, perhaps history could have taken a different path.
Perhaps millions of lives could have been saved. Perhaps we would have faced inhumanity more decisively and prevented it from festering in the future.
Today, the world stands at a similar crossroads.
With alarming accuracy, we are repeating the same mistakes — ignorant masses raising populist leaders, corrupt, self-absorbed figures blinded by ambition and stripped of empathy, those who, once again, manipulate human weaknesses to drag us into a new cycle of hatred, violence, and fascism.
We cannot afford to be passive observers.
We cannot allow manipulation and apathy to make us silent accomplices to future bloodshed.
Now, more than ever, we must stand together against the approaching catastrophe.
At the very least, we must refuse to spread lies, resist manipulative information attacks, and defend truth and dignity wherever we can.
We must support all progressive, rational forces—and strengthen the institutions, alliances, and structures that are prepared to defend humanity from a new world war.
The warning signs are clear.
The choice is ours to act—or to regret.
